Sharp Leads BLI Enviornmental Testing Reports
Sharp's MX-M503N scored the highest possible rating of 5 stars in BLI's independent test of MFPs and Energy Consumption. This machine was rated to have the lowest energy consumption cost compared with others.
Sharp Receives EPA's SmartWay Excellence Award for the Third Year in a Row
The Environmental Protection Agency has named Sharp as the first organization ever to receive the "SmartWaySM Excellence Award" three years in a row for environmentally-conscious shipping practices. This high achievement recognized Sharp for their leadership in conserving energy and lowering greenhouse gas emissions from their transportation and freight activities. Sharp was one of only 27 companies from among the SmartWay Transport Partnership’s more than 1,000 members, to earn the award in 2008. The winners were announced October 7 at the Annual Conference of Supply Chain Management Professionals in Denver.
